Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Yes. You'll encounter a very broken psyche. Pride in own abilities, mixed with a trickle of guilt, major self worth issues, and a lot of unpleasant memories. There is a sense that a determined person could make a bond with Soubi easily.

Warnings: Soubi has some very unpleasant memories in his past (child rape, child abuse, and severe emotional abuse), so if you'd rather these not show up in his tags, poke me and we can work something out.


+ Soubi's not telepathic, except in one very specific, minor way, and he has to consciously use the power. He has the ability to 'see' links between people if they're bonded in some fashion. What this means is: he won't be able to see anything like who people are in love with/who their friends are, but if someone has a link to another person mentally/empathically/magically, he'll pick up on it (e.g. Harry and Voldemort). Soubi's bond sight lets him see a bond automatically when it's in use; otherwise he has to Look for them purposely. The shape/material/look they have is an instinctual interpretation of what they do/how strong they are, and he won't always understand the full meaning.
+ His powers rely on reality warping/using Words to create a focus for 'spells' which cause varying effects depending on his intent. If you can interpret what he's saying/figure out the meaning behind his words, it's possible to block or twist his spell with magic - and there's always the option of rendering him speechless somehow. He's used to thinking very quickly on his feet, and can be something of an stubborn machine if he decides you need taking down. He's also capable of causing mental anguish/altering mental states in his opponent. These effects can be much more subversive and harder to block unless you know what you're doing.

Asch is half of a pair of perfect isofons (actually, it's technically a trio, but one member is a particle energy god and way less likely to be relevant). As such, he has a connection to his replica (Luke fon Fabre) that would probably ping Soubi's bond sight. It probably appears to be a flow of golden particles (obviously Seventh Fonons, if Soubi sees them used in a more normal context); when both are in game it's a somewhat distinctly one-sided flow from Asch to Luke, at least unless they get the sliiiiiight problem with it fixed.
